you are going to regret buying a prebuilt computer in the future.

it is legit building blocks for adults to assemble a computer. but if you wanna be dumb and waste your money, no one's gonna stop you.

ok, not being a dick but, if its so easy and i will regret it, find me a build with a good i5, a 1060 or amd 480, 8gb ram, 250 ssd or 1tb hdd, windows 7 or 10, motherboard, 500+ watt psu and case for under 750 and post it here please

OS can be torrented, did not include monitor. Since your budget is $750, no point getting a 1060 anyway.

When you say torrented you mean I can get windows for free illegally right? How difficult is than for a PC novice like me and how safe? And do you not like the RX 480? You did not mention that but mentioned its competition the 1060

Yes, easy even for pc novice. If you check out various youtube guides, they are explained in great detail. Built is about $500, you can go ahead with rx480 or even the 1060. However with such tight budget, I do not recommend 1060 (might require a 'Atx board' and a better psu or a larger casing) which in turn might be more than $750.

shoulda included, my friend is sending me a large case and 750 watt PSU and 8 GB ram for free. Do you think that mobo, cpu, and an rx 480 would be a good build?

It would be a decent, budget build. But with current systems, there's no need for a 750w psu.

I would probably upgrade the CPU to a i5-4460 but here is a build someone suggested me... Thoughts? I'd use my friend's case

If you were to upgrade the cpu, go for i5-6600 instead.

Recommend to get 2x4gb ram over a 1x8gb ram

Go with rx 480 instead. It outperforms r9 380 anyday.

The rest is fine.

Don't bother wasting money on a pre-built, just go for a custom set.

DO NOT GET AN RX 480 IT TAKES MORE ENERGY THAN IT'S ADVERTISED AT AND HAS ALOT OF PROBLEMS. IT WILL KILL YOUR POWER SUPPLY.
