Dedicated Server Issues

Featured Replies

I bought a dedicated server with an i5 3570k quad core, 8 gb of ram. Idk what is up but its showing this

I'm running 7 bots on there with like 7 fps, which is fine fps wise but I don't understand why it is showing this as it should be capable for more. If it was really these processors, which are like 10 bucks ea i tell you, how could it run 7.

ask the Dedi provider? i am sure they have a live chat? or ticket system?

I'm not sure who told you that it has an i5 but it's using 4 AMD 2212s which are 2.0ghz each. Those things are junk

tests If that's what you purchased and the hardware screen shot is what you were given then you got ripped off. Let's just say those cores can be purchased at 16 dollars each. 4 of those is no where near the 200+ dollars an i5 is.

You should be seeing intel from the hardware listing not amd.

What company did you purchase this through? If this is what they are giving customers I'd want people to know they are ripping customers off.

I emailed them you, id rather keep the company a secret for now. If they dont respond well I tell you guys.

That don't seem right to me at all...

What you think you have purchased most likely is not what you have actually got.

This happens a lot nower days money robbing bastards.

Idk, they seem like a pretty legitimate company. They've been running for like 8 years now, and there are some reviews of them online. If they wanted to steal my money they wouldn't have helped me for 3 days trying to set it up. I just hope it was some kind of accident and this isn't what I ordered.

Maybe so this could be the case!

Maybe they have applied you to the wrong machine mistakes do happen.

Just contact them via email, or there support lines and see what they say and get back to us with the information they give you.

Basically they said it was of equal power of the individual i5, but they said they could just use an i5 instead, which i asked them to do.

I'd ask for a refund and go else where. A company that gives you something else than what you paid for isn't one i'd trust. Also it isn't nearly equal at all. The i5 is 2 times more powerful than those old school processors. It just seems like they are trying to cut costs for themselves since what they gave you would be roughly $50/month. I'd also be very concerned they don't delete your server after they give you the new one and claim they don't allow botting programs to run for blah blah blah reasons just so they won't have to give you a refund or upgrade.

They decided to give me a quad core i7 3770k 3.50 ghz for only 15 dollars more! They also bumped up my ram a whole 8 gb!

This dedicated server is reaaaaaaaaaaaaally powerful now ! biggrin.png

Didn't even want the 15 bucks this month

haha, i suppose so, but how do you know they haven't applied more false cores and told you they have issued you with a i7!
