I love 07, but I'm worried it won't live much longer.
Will it die in a nuclear bomb?
Will it Jagex shut it down in the future?
Will people stop playing?

I believe that Jagex will shut it down eventually. As of right now, they wouldn't do that, it's getting them money. But possibly in the future.

What do you think?

rs3 is gaaay af and will get gaaayer everyday which will lead people into playing 07 so no.

I personally don't think that they will shut it down. Because of how many people started playing 07 scape instead of EoC, they increased the amount of time 07 servers would be up (prices and such.) I hope they won't because that is all I play now. Also, rs3 is getting mixed signals from the community, so it's not a given.

IMO RS3 will and already has brought in a lot of players so i don't think Jagex themselves will go down. And as for 07scape i think it will be around so long as there are people playing it. It would piss a lot of vets off if they closed 07scape. 

if they keep doing shitty updates I give it 3-4 yrs max to at least cope with WOW or LoL players.

From a business stand point there isn't a reason to shit it down, if for some reason 07 became more popular than the "Live" game then someones personal grudge gets involved I can see it being closed. But as long as there is new content, changes then more and more players will come. There is a large community out there that wont play due to the fact that there isn't really anything feasible to pvm, If Jagex were to incorporate more bosses and allocate more workers and think of 07 as Rs instead of 07 then It will be successful. 

As long as Jagex is making money, which it is, it will stay.

I think it'll stay around. Look at Runescape classic. I just checked and there's only about 100 players on atm but Jagex stills keeps it around.

Currently there's a large amount of players playing both RS3 and OSRS.

I don't see either being shut down any time soon, honestly. 

It will not be shutting down any time soon.

People forget that it's called OSRS not 07 or 07scape, it's just that the oldest revision of rs was back in 2007. Old-school graphics, old-school content, old-school players.
