When you said trap door I thought you meant the trap door in edgeville you need to open to climb the ladder down into the dungeon. The popup from the gate entering the wilderness needs to be manually disabled via the tickbox that is on it. You will need to do this one time and it will not popup again. Trials given.

Pushed an update that hopefully will fix the stuck issue, though at this point I'm not sure what is causing it and I cannot replicate it. Live version will be 1.8. If you have issues with that version please fill out the bug report form I have in my OP so I have all the information I need to further investigate. I added some more information that will be put into the logger that should help narrow down where the problem is occurring at.
