  9. What I mean is that even if people are reported to the FBI like the shooter was in this case, there isn't much they can do to a (so far) law-abiding citizen. We are essentially powerless to do anything before the crime has been committed. Due process is the only roadblock in between not allowing those on the no-fly list from purchasing a gun, for example. The problem is that we all can agree we don't want certain anomalies to have guns, but if we aren't going to talk about due process or changing the constitution in some way it's impossible for us to get anywhere. And yeah, I'm sure states and local governments can enact stricter laws, and they should, but they are still bound by the constitution. I'm also sure there are examples where the government already stomps all over our due process rights (and others), but that's a whole 'nother rabbit hole.
  10. Yeah, the useless party-pandering is dangerous, but it's what the 2 party system has created. I think we are really discussing a much larger scale revolution. We are in the realm of amending the constitution and abandoning the two-party system if we want real change.
  11. The legal problem with gun control laws is they are restricted by due process. We shouldn't discuss no-fly lists for example as it would require the 5th and 14th amendments would have to be repealed.
  12. The 2nd amendment gave guns to the people so that they would have the means to fight against a tyrannical government. That is what guns are for. Most guns should sit locked up and only be used for routine training. Guns are what keep the US government from overstepping their power more than they already do. Just because a gun looks scary isn't a good reason to ban it. Most hunting rifles have similar fire rates and damage potential as this gun, but they are made of wood so nobody cares. I agree mental health checks and age restrictions are logical.
  13. I think you're trolling but I can't tell. Racism doesn't have anything to do with anything. If we want to talk racism the left is to blame for 99% of race inequality issues. Look at every democratic controlled state and city with the strictest gun control laws in the US, that have the highest poverty and gun murder rates by multiple level of magnitudes.
  14. This is fake news. Handguns ARE semi auto weapons with nearly identical damage potential to an AR-15.
  15. More GPUs. Supply and demand. Crypto isn't going anywhere.
  16. If I could go back and do it over I would get cards that required 1 8 pin power connector instead of two so I could use one power supply. Other than that it's pretty straightforward. My most profitable setup has been using Windows + Nicehash on a specific algorithm. Currently I'm mining Vertcoin as I believe it will go up in the near future and 2 or 3x my mining profits + I can merge mine with UIS. Calculating what I've made is getting tricky as I'm hopping around//trying new configs/coins so often at the moment. From what I can tell: Nicehash account 1: .00292895 BTC ~$32 Nicehash account 2: .01007371 BTC ~108.5 Winminer balance: $10 VTC balance: 34 VTC ~$150 $300 in 13 days. Not too shabby.
  17. Just found the best way to mine yet - on track to be making $45/day from the mining rig. $1350/month? This is too good to be true. Let's see what I can average out for this month.
  18. Update January 12th: Update: Wasn't able to mine from December 20ish-Yesterday due to being away for holidays. Here were my WinMiner payouts. Done in LTC/ETH due to BTC fees. Total profit $214. Now switched to mining VertCoin an average hashrate well above 210MH/s. Costs me 0 in pool fees due to decentralized miner. Looking at 3.5-4 VTC a day ($23+). Plan to hold these long term as I feel vertcoin is undervalued for what it is. Will continue to keep updated.
  19. Nope, just need to fund deliveries for my website
