Another difficult situation, that's why I am sort of sad that I refunded both buyers, but on the other hand I saved my name and have no more questioning. It is undoubtedly a very tough situation to prove and execute, but I hope there is a solution soon enough.

Agreed, however it is true that the buyer should ask the right questions etc. Guess that's how it is for now, maybe seller will have some responsibility somewhere down the future.

Okay first off I'd like to say I have been buying and selling accounts off and on for about 2 years now, first on PA then here. After selling a total of 5 accounts, 2 of which weren't my originals here on OSBot, I was approached 7-12 days afterwards by the buyers telling me the account was recovered. Out of instinct, I assumed I was responsible for giving back the money I accepted from them, and then the original seller should either be banned or refund me. After refunding @cinnamon and then disputing the original owner, I was told that because "I couldn't prove who recovered", nothing could be done and that was that. I left it be and forgot about it because I did the right thing and refunded him. I blocked the original owner, and he can scam whoever he wants I suppose. I then was approached by my 2nd account buyer saying it was recovered. Of course I have the same mindset and am going to uphold my name and of course I refunded him immediately. This then really got to me and I asked a moderator what rule says I shouldn't refund, and original owner can't be proven so we will just let him stick around, won't this lead to insane amount of account scamming and recovering?! I was told because I didn't recover, it was not my fault and that he thought it was very nice and respectful that I refunded when I didn't have to. I guess I just want to know how others feel about this because I did and could not actually (because I'm not original owner) recover the account, but still felt I have the obligation to refund. Please leave feedback and if I'm just too morally correct or if there should be a rule change! Thanks.

I felt the harm? lol I paid blood for the account, and resold. but then had to refund and lost the account. I now paid for something I don't have..

I gave it to Cinnamon. Cinnamon informed me it was recovered. I refunded him, then started this approach.

Can someone add me on skype so I can screen share? I'm attempting to recover with email system and proving it's not on mine, cinnamon, or hakuna's.

After using it for myself for awhile and doing whatever I do with the account, I decided to resell. I sold this account to Cinnamon on December 30, at 1pm. This morning Cinnamon told me the account was recovered so here I am.
