  1. it's not a bad idea releasing a script which has the same idea as yours, I don't see why you took it as far as to buy his source code and give him some ownership ;)
  2. That would be safe providing you don't bot.
  3. Because there are about 10million os accounts, do you think it's that easy to go through all of those accounts to determine if there botting? They leave it up to botwatch and other players to report and get players banned, as for botwatch it probably can detect your client, its java, not hard to make a line a code to return weither there using a real client or a fake one... Jagex has professional java scripters, im sure they can figure things out The bot client has professional java scripters coding, I think they can find ways around it jagex requires a college degree laz is in high school, and maybe some othersIm sure jagex are better scripters, hell they made runescape. But you are right... When it comes to botting we are bad ass! You do know a college degree means almost nothing right? All it means is you can pass a class. I'm not saying everyone that graduates college knows nothing, because that's just a completely untrue statement, but all college is is a resource to learn. My dad's a software consultant that makes an incredible amount of money a year and is hired over nearly every person that puts in a resume, and he has no college degree. Same thing to applies to my neighbor.Plus RuneScape isn't even coded in Java anymore. They built the game on Java yes, but all the new updates and things coded in are built using a language they designed called RuneCore. They specifically designed this so their employees wouldn't be required to know the Java language are you stupid?Runescape is java, they made the RuneTek engine in java, it's not a separate programming language, it's java. Like I just said, it's built on Java but the main scripting language they use to create content for the game is RuneScript.Look here: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/RuneScript pretty irrelevant to bot detection what? i was using the osbot client that was just an assumption I made based on my experiences with rs3, I'm not sure about 07 but your ip is most likely flagged
  4. @op change the title of the frame before logging into runescape when using an rs3 bot, this is one of the confirmed detection methods, I tested this myself with 3 accounts, 2 got instantly banned and when the title was RuneScape it didn't

oh please, npcs.get("fishing spot") yeah that would work for a specific fish. There is a need for idsAnd for objects ids are needed because to get the position u would shift the idhash though it's already done in the api so mayb not You could check the actions that the fishing spot has available.. Ex a lobster fishing spot would have the "cage" action. If players don't use ids, why would a bot need to use them? ids are also used in the bot to get object definitions and item definitions. How about the freaky forester random? They all have the same name. Well you could always access model data and count the number of triangles they have but that wouldn't work with things like fishing spots and other shit. I'm not familiar with osrs but surely some fishing spots have the same action and different fishSorry for bashing your thread OP, good luck!
  8. 1. Reporting bots 2. Scamming 3. Merching

  11. There is a hook for selectedItemName, but osbot doesn't have it - if they did, it would return the latest selected item name Also you could just check that it says use item name ->
