I would believe in life after death if it wasn't for the fact that when some people are not born with fully capable brains as most other people are born with they cannot do certain things. Some people that have not had a certain neurological pathway open may not be able to move their legs or talk or something else of the sort. When we die our brain ceases to work since there is no more oxygen taken in and no blood is pumped to keep a person going. So in my opinion the thought of life after death is probably not possible due to the fact that when we die all of our important organs that make life possible; stop. If I was told by my aunt that my uncle died and he left me 10 billion dollars I would try to claim it as quickly as possible, or at least check to see if what she told me was true. So i get to the office where i claim the 10 billion dollars and they tell me that it wasn't for me. Of course It would be disappointing but life would go on regardless of the fact that I could have received 10 billion dollars. In other words it's just the thought of having the 10 billion dollars (or life after death) which is what im losing. I'm still alive and well, life is still going on, and i've got to go home to play runescape.
