Was just about to post this. I need to see a bit more that appeals to the eye, a distinction. I agree, I feel he should start on singular characters or something with a highly distinctive focal point already. I feel it much better and easy going for trial and error.

He's only just started trying to do sigs like this, I'm sure he would like come constructive feedback. I was just expirementing with some effects. Thanks for the feedback.

lol, Its either photoshop or gimp depending if you want to pay or get it for free. (You can always torrent photoshop). Cinema 4d is not a necessity but If you want to do 3D design then get that.
