Probably got a broken monitor, try hooking it up to a different computer or laptop an see if it keeps happening if so then its the monitor as for the slower computer try checking for a virus or something an you could always go back to factory defaults.

Just look at this video - The 8350 beats the i7 3770k in general and in a lot of games it even performs better lol which is sad cause the i7 3770k is like $100 more. Ya the AMD is hotter and consumes more power (like 45wats more lol) but the amount of power consumption it uses compared to Intel is low, I highly doubt you would be paying for anything more. I mean I don't pay electricity bills or anything cause i'm only 15 but I know not much more. An as for the chance of burning either Intel or AMD is total bullshit, seriously even with the stock coolers that wouldn't happen and if it did you probably got a bad part + if your so worried spend the extra $20 and get a hyper 212 evo or something. Face it the AMD processors are better in general when your going for dollar to performance and even without that they perform better in general than the i7 3770k which lots of people seem to have. I mean if you want to spend $100 for like 4 fps more than be my guest.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2HCR7 - This is a pretty good build for just botting on, I would recommend bumping that 8 gigs of ram to 16 gigs if you plan to run a lot. An as for the dvd drive, you don't really need that unless you buy windows but if you get it off a torrent then don't get it. This would also be good if you just want to play the game too but you could probably get away with lowering some stuff like the ram and such.

I would change that i5 4670k to an AMD FX 8350 (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-fd8350frhkbox) and save some money, plus it performs better in most cases and definitely is better for recording, rendering an such. Then change the motherboard to a Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-m5a99fxpror20) saves you money there too. And for gaming I would recommend switching to Windows 8 as you'll get better performance, not too much though so its not a big deal weather you get 8 or 7 its just personal preference really. An if you want since you saved like $80 on the cpu an motherboard you could use that extra money that you would have used on that cpu and motherboard for a gtx 770 instead of a 760 you would still lose like $20 but thats not too much and you get free games with it like AC4.

Actually the 8350 is better performance for how much your spending on it, it beats the i7 3770k and its a $100 cheaper.

Take a look at this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QqQcfA3Tj8 He has the same graphics card and cpu and he's getting constant 50s on fps and that's perfect cause he's running on ultra settings too with highest resolution. An that is all I really need cause if this can run battlefield it can definatly run almost every game. So I mean there isn't really a need to spend the extra $200 for a better graphics card on GeForce when it wont give me that big of a difference from what I have seen on youtube. I'm gonna stick with this. Plus I have better ram than him on that video so it should be just a bit better. He's also recording too which drops fps.

I'm sticking with the AMD cpu because I'm getting more for my money according to this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eu8Sekdb-IE and the graphics card i'm sticking with it cause it comes with bf4 and runs it well and that's what i'm looking for, to play battlefield on high settings.
