Why should we forget it? Have you ever heard the term "History tends to repeat itself"? Part of the patriotism of being an American is that we care about each other and don't forget about each other. I don't understand how people can come to America and not care, but expect us to care about their countries and help their country. I think it's quite selfish. Know what is selfish? America starting countless wars, and that countless other country's need to hold their hands and help them. and when they are done, they expect that the united nations will stay and protect afghanistan. The netherland soldiers stayed in Afghanistan for 8 years, after america left. to keep order. That is selfish. Most american are selfish, so dont tell me something difrend.
