  1. You guys are clutch - appreciate you all.
  2. Nice. Definitely agree - you'll almost certainly get banned before farming 5m in F2P. Thanks! Very interesting - going to check this out, maybe even for main lol! Thanks. This one I'm not so interested in - I keep my main entirely separate from my bot farm. Looking to start gold farming for RWT, not for in game gold for main. Thank you though!
  3. When creating a new account, how are you getting it into P2P? Are you paypaling membership, buying a bond with IRL $, farming gold in F2P then buying it? Do you guys wait a period of time after creating account before getting mems and botting it there?
  4. Lookin real good, wanna check this out
  5. Excellent information. Thanks for this high quality post.
  6. Thanks. I move a little slower with this than most likely due to working full time plus night classes, just a lot on my plate right now. I've been working on an instagram bot to practice my coding skills, albeit that's in python, I believe most of these bots are made with Javascript - no matter, coding experience bleeds into other languages. I'm currently still in the phase of research. Learning about creating incognito accounts and setting up a physical infrastructure. I've got an openstack cloud server that I can dedicate some resources for to spin up a VPS, or a couple VPS' with individual VPNs. I'm also VERY curious as to how some of the botting clients actually interact with the game. Out of everything I know, this is the most limited of my knowledge. For me, I know bans will happen. But I'd like to create something big, not something suicid-ey. I'll use my experience with networking & security to my advantage to avoid detection. I actually understand that MAC addresses and IP's actually do play a large role in detection and chain bans, as well as account creation date + names. I mean seriously....If you create 10 accounts within 5 minutes of each other, all with the same gmail account +1, all on the same machine/MAC address, all using your own home internet IP that you actually play runescape on on your main.....it's just going to be a yikes from me dawg. That's the easiest ban I've ever seen in my life, plus your main is going to get nicked as well! Need to understand the fundamentals of how IT systems operate, then you can abuse them. My GF asked me one time about hacking....I said lol sweety, I know some things, but I would NEVER dare to abuse my knowledge because what I know is limited. If you want to hack, for example, (Or botting, it can also be looked at as hacking....hacking the system) you better be damn sure you're better and more skilled than the person whom you're attacking, or they will find you. If you want to set up a bot-farm that's meaningful, you better come correct or Jagex is gonna find you. You need to be better than they are, and that's tough, because they have a whole team of skilled individuals working on these projects.
  7. Nice, thank you for the suggestion. I had heard about this method but I'm not sure that I support it. As a network analyst, we do network access control based on MAC addresses. Vendors (like Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, HP, etc) have something called an OUI - organizationally unique identifier. What this means is that the first 6 characters (out of 12) in any MAC address ever will depict the host/machines manufacturer or vendor. What this means to us is this: If Microsoft comes out with a security camera, ALL OF their security cameras now will have the OUI of ac:1a:44:X:X:X (where x.x.x is the host mac address portion). Now....these devices all can be automatically administered based on vendor OUI.... I can create a network access control rule to say, block any MAC address that hits my network with the OUI of ac:1a:44*. The * wildcard demeans that any character at all after ac:1a:44 will result in the rule being hit and that device being profiled/blocked. How does that translate to botting in Runescape? I can guarantee you that Jagex has means to identify and take actions against easy to spot patterns like this. If they notice 3 accounts are woodcutting at the same spot, same gear, same stats - 4 accounts are fishing in the same way, and 5 accounts are mining in the same way - ALL of which are accounts created with the FakeGmailAcc1@gmail.com, FakeGmailAcc2@gmail.com, and so on, it's INCREDIBLY easy for them to take action on all accounts. Now you just lost your entire bot farm in one single swoop. Plus any account of your that interacts with those accounts, based on IP address, credit card info, emails, in-game transactions, you can consider all those accounts banned. So this method may very well work for suicide farms - to me right now that's the only way I can see this method being useful. But that's ultimately not how I'm looking to proceed. I want clean and unique gmail and OSRS accounts.
  8. I wanna learn with you guys too. We can report back here and keep the conversation going. How are you guys creating accounts? I'm currently trying to figure out what method I can use to create gmail and osrs accounts. Any ideas?
