a VPS is a basically a computer you rent out for a month or more. They will have specs such as 50gb HDD space, 2GB RAM etc. But the better the VPS the more it will cost. A VPS will basically allow the person to rent out the computer usage, install the OSBot client on it and bot on another computer. Advantages? Can bot without needing to turn the PC off Can use more bots if your PC doesn't have a great amount of RAM. When you buy a VPS from a hosting service they will give you the login details, you'll then use a program to connect to it (putty or vnc). It's basically teamviewer so when you login you'll be able to see your VPS' desktop and be able to browse the internet/download files/store/run files. There's numerous guides on how to install the bot on a VPS on the forums. VPS Features: When you buy a VPS you'll need to think a.) How many bots do I want to run and how much RAM that will need b.) How much am I willing to spend c.) What Operating System do I want (Ubuntu/Linux VPS is usually cheaper than Windows VPS but that's because the licence cost is free, however be aware that Ubuntu/Linux are more difficult to set up bots and run them than Windows so keep that in mind) A tpyical VPS that'll let you run 2 bots will cost you $7.50/month from Khanz I think and he will download the client and set it up for you all you need to do is pick the bot and sign in with the RS account/OSBot account for VIP. So in short a VPS allows you to run more bots on top of the ones you're running on your PC, and a VPS is always on so you don't need to worry about leaving your PC on all night to run bots if you'd prefer that. Wow noted that but is there cheaper vps out there because 2 bots for 7.50$ months is bit too much for only 2, i'd like to have 5 bots tabs with a vps any ideas how much it will cost? THANKS !!!!
