I dont mind botting, it brings more traffic to jagex, it makes goldfarmers pay for membership, and it only negatively effects the game and indirectly players (it only ruins a game they play, but doesnt really steal what theyve paid for) But selling stolen accounts, yeah that effects a person directly

yeah i get that. It's just that people will take the time to rate you down when you have a disagreement, but when you actually add to the community and do services and you're an overall good member of the community, it goes unnoticed (at least in the user rating system. It shows in feedback). Like i said, im not asking for it to be reversed lol its just pretty immature that people take disagreements that far and label you as a bad member of the community

I dont bot so that doesnt apply to me. Breaking runescapes terms of service isn't against the law, its just grounds for them to ban you from their game. Bots and RWT is against the law though, since your selling property that isnt owned by you. Im just saying that HACKED accounts shouldn't be sold. Its wrong. When people admit the accounts are hacked (its basically admitted to be a hacked account when you say "the owner can change the password at any time") , then sorry if i make the assumption that the owner doesnt want the buyer of the "hacked" account to have access to it. If i spent money on a netflix account, i wouldn't like it being sold and used on forum sites without my consent... i guess thats just me. The fact is, these accounts are being sold without the consent of the person who's paying for them, which violates their rights and i dont think its even legal Its not your problem so why should you be concerned? Just because something doesnt directly affect me, doesnt mean i shouldnt care. If something wrong is being done, am i wrong for trying to stop it?

People admit to them being hacked accounts, that can be recovered by the owner at any time if the passwords changed. And yeah hacked runescape accounts shouldnt be sold either. Why are you getting so hostile lmao, theres no reason to cuss and start getting all defensive
