  1. As long as I wont have to pay as much as Ive made, I'm fine with it. I should have thought of this shit already lmao. I'm going to start declaring everything and pay whatever is due. Problem is I haven't declared ANYTHING in 3 years for PayPal. Might be in some deep shit, eh? I did find this and I don't think I've exceeded either, I make 1 sale/week: Form 1099-K, Payment Card and Third Party Network Transactions, is an IRS information return used to report certain payment transactions to improve voluntary tax compliance. You should receive Form 1099-K by January 31st if, in the prior calendar year, you received payments: from payment card transactions (e.g., debit, credit or stored-value cards), and/or in settlement of third-party payment network transactions above the minimum reporting thresholds of – gross payments that exceed $20,000, AND more than 200 such transactions
  2. When you say shafted off the tax, what do you mean exactly? I've had a few thousand go through my PayPal and I haven't had an issue yet. Edit: I also read that a while ago personal and "premier" accounts merged together, aren't premier accounts for people like me who only sell ~$200-$300 week? I figured business accounts were for bigger sellers.
  3. Right I know there used to be. Also, should I just be upgrading to a business account? Lately I've dealt with quite a few transactions - I'm not sure if it's required to use a business account if I'm only making a few hundred/week. This is true, they required me to do that about a month ago. After uploading what they wanted, account returned to normal standing
  4. Anyone know the receiving limit for a fully verified PayPal personal account whether yearly or monthly - if there are any? I've been googling and I'm literally finding nothing about it. Thanks in advance.
  5. Have you tried adding each account to a different proxy? I'm not experienced in emblem farming but I'd imagine due to the farmers that accounts from the same IP address will not be made targets. Give it a shot, let me know how it goes. Also, if you can: I'd try this with about 7-8 accounts. Definitely increases your chances of being targets. I also believe you don't just want one to be killing, but you should be using all the accounts to kill each other. Chances are a single kill account isn't going to work very well. Edit: Don't forget, you'll get banned for emblem farming even if you're not botting it - Keep all profit on a mule account!
  6. See now this is informative and helpful answering exactly all my questions, I appreciate this reply lots. I was looking into Skrill last night and it seems super close to PayPal with a few added fees which is not really a big deal. I'll probably make the switch when the time comes. Unfortunately I am from the US :/. But how would you say skrill is more "safe" than PayPal? Aren't charge backs on Skrill still possible? Either way, in the 3 years or so I've been farming I've not had even a single charge back, (because I deal with sites, mostly probemas the past 3 years.) I'd much rather like to start selling to the public for better prices but it seems crypto would be the only safe way to do so in which im entirely unfamiliar with.
  7. I've been selling on PayPal for years - I was just getting paranoid about the money being locked into PayPal for transactions that aren't allowed or something along those lines. Thanks for the info though! Also, thanks for the offer but it appears the average on Sythe is .73-.81/M ? I wouldn't want ya makin too much money off me xD!
  8. In the mean time - do you think it's smart for me to continue to sell through PayPal being my only way of payment? I'm currently holding 250m+ gold and I'd like to get rid of it. Thx for the reply btw. (The reason I ask this is because Probemas is very reputable, it makes me question why they would already stop using PayPal if nothing has happened yet.)
  9. I just looked to sell some gold to Probemas and I was hit with this message: " We might be doing PayPal at some point, but they have plans on withdrawing from online games currency related digital goods business. So I'd suggest looking into Skrill instead - it works exactly the same way as PayPal does, and you can withdraw funds to your bank account exactly the same way. Let me know if you're interested and need more info." Does anyone know when this is taking place? PayPal has been my only way to receive payments for years and I'm nervous about switching. Edit: I've also had a decent amount of money go through my PayPal account, will there be any repercussions for selling OSRS gold?
  10. If you get banned again you will not be getting that account back.
  11. Yes I run 20 accounts, I use a different bot. What exactly are you trying to get out of flaming me for saying I run 20 accounts? It seems every time I mention my farm on these forums some pleb has to make a negative comment about it. I'm not VIP here because I have private scripts elsewhere. Now please learn some manners, thank you.
  12. No running more accounts does not result in higher ban rate, I run 15-20 on one IP, no problems.
  13. You're trying to bot a main account? That's a bit of a tough task. The life expectancy of my botting accounts are about 3-7 days (24-7). I suggest that if you're actually going to play the game, use fresh accounts to gather your GP. This way you can train legitimately and afford the best gear possible with a very low - slim to none chance of being banned. Good luck.
  14. +1 Vouch for RSGoldMine. Sold over 150m+ directly to Ruben for 0.74/M. Great pricing, fast payment, no funny business. Will be back to sell more, appreciate the swift service!
  15. Going to upload the files they need now, hopefully everything works out! Will post back results, hoping to regain full access to my account. Thanks again for the help guys, highly appreciated.
  16. Thanks for the useful replies. Upon doing more research it appears they should have asked for these pictures/proof YEARS ago. I don't really have access to a fax machine, think it will work to provide photos with a camera/phone?
  17. I just really don't like the idea of having to upload pictures of my SS card/photo ID. I'd already verified my account years ago with my bank. So basically, if I decide I don't want to upload my ID/SSN my money is locked into PayPal? I wasn't even informed what the restrictions on the account are. Thx for reply btw.
  18. I've been getting paid through PayPal for years now without a problem. Yesterday I logged into my account and I received a notification "There’s a problem with your account. Be sure to resolve it to restore full account access." Okay, great. So I check my email expecting some info about the issue and there is no mail. I checked the resolution center and there is nothing open and no information there on how to fix the issue. After over an hour of waiting on the phone, I never got through to a real person so I hung up contacted live chat support. Upon doing so I was told "After reviewing your account, I found that your account is restricted due to security and safety concern, to gain access to your account you'll need to submit some documents. The documents required to solve this restriction are: Fax ID, Fax proof of Address, & Proof of SSN." My main question are: why are they suddenly needing this after years of use/sales? Is there any way for me to regain full access without uploading pictures of my ID/SSN as I'd prefer not to for privacy reasons? Any help with this appreciated, quite frustrated at the moment as my business revolves around PayPal. Thanks
  19. I don't have a farm here on osbot, I was getting banned too quickly. I use a different client.
  20. I really think it makes no difference, I've been running the same farm for about 4 weeks straight now with the exception of RS updates.
  21. Well now at least I know the temp is alright, thanks for that. It's possible I just got unlucky, maybe I'm just overthinking this little click-like noise. I can tell exactly which fan it's coming from, but I guess it's not that big of a deal yet. I'll just keep a close eye on things for now, I appreciate the reply.
  22. I would say the room isn't that well ventilated so that may be something, although the computer has not been exposed to moisture or smoke. The room does get fairly hot as it's pretty small, I'd say the whole summer my computer room has been about 80 degrees, sometimes up to 85. I assumed most people's computer room/office is usually pretty warm, maybe 80-85 degrees is just too hot. It's been a super hot summer, although upon checking the temperature of my CPU and what not it seems everything is hanging around 50 degrees Celsius - is this considered normal temps?
  23. I mean that was pretty much why I made this post, it's unfortunate that no one could exactly help me out with that. When the original fans started to go, I got one replaced and then a month or so later another one started to go so I got it replaced also, within another month I lost my 3rd fan and had to replace it. I don't really know what the cause was. If you have any guess, let me know. I have absolutely no idea how they would all die within months of each other, and of course now I'm having more problems. Also I'm having no luck with google or youtube
  24. Ah, I have the same fans for now. I'm going to look into Noctua, highly appreciate the suggestion!
