  1. I'm interested in making a few level-3 hunter pures for black chinchompa botting. When the bot returns to the hunting spot after banking, it teleports to the Corp. cave and runs there. Right outside the cave, there are aggressive level-101 Ents that hang around and attack players who are running to the hunter spot. They often hit 10+, which would immediately kill a level-3. How does the bot deal with this threat? Does it take a different route to get to the hunter spot if the script is being used on a level-3? Thank you!
  2. Nice, man! What internet browser and proxy extension do you use? I've always had trouble connecting to the internet via a proxy on my internet browser.
  3. If you create RS accounts on your residential IP address and very soon afterwards log in to them using a proxy, Jagex usually considers this sudden change a potential threat to account security and they lock the account. The way I avoid this is by waiting at least 12 hours in between creating accounts on my residential IP address and logging in to them via a proxy. I haven't had an account locked since doing this. Also, do you use a script to complete quests on your accounts? If so, which script do you use? Good luck with your project!
  4. Yeah, that makes more sense. I guess I didn't read it that way. I thought they meant they couldn't, or had limited ability to, monitor an individual via their IP address. I've seen a lot of conflicting information regarding IPs/proxies floating around this forum, so I just figured this post might prompt a discussion.
  5. Today, Jagex created an OSRS news post titled Protecting Game Integrity. Among other things related to botting, they discussed IP addresses and what players can do to better protect themselves from DDoS attacks and other comprimises. In that section of the post, they said: "Whilst we aren't able to police your individual IP address, we can help educate you with the best advice to protecting it." While this statement is pretty vague, it could give us a bit of insight into Jagex's ability to monitor players' IP addresses. Might this suggest that Jagex can't actually view your IP address? Does this new information affect how us botters should view IP handling/use of proxies? What do you think?
  6. This is actually comical.
  7. I've been botting progression hunter on 4 accounts for about 8 hours per day. One of the accounts got banned a few hours ago; the rest are fine. I'm probably going to take it easy now that one of them got nuked.
