  1. my current proxy is for ALL connections, browser, gaming, etc., i'll change services
  2. ahhh so I need to quit being a cheap bastard and get a real proxy that I can plug into the client?
  3. In my experience (1-2 years ago), the stealth injection mode was more efficient for me. Stealth used less memory, and I only noticed a lowering of ban rate with certain scripts whilst using mirror. Mirror mode requires you to have some sort of rs client open while using it, whether that's the official rs client or osbuddy is up to you. If you're looking to run mass farms, I'd suggest stealth injection due to the fact that while mass farming you'll be banned quite often, and mirror mode simply uses too much memory to be worth while if you're running a larger amount of clients.
  4. Hello all. Upon attempting to access the site about half an hour ago I received a message stating that I was banned. Not sure why? Maybe because I tried to recover an old account that I no longer have. If anyone has any info as to why I was banned please let me know all I had to do was switch my proxy and I was allowed back on the site. The client still worked while I was "banned" as well. Thanks!
  5. Thanks Alek! We appreciate it!
  6. how helpful, thanks for the info, ever so toxic muffins >.<
  7. Thanks everyone for your input i'll give java a go then i'll move into osbot scripting/look over the API!
  8. i made this account because I don't have the info for the other one? If the other one isn't in my current possession how could I possibly have two accs? btw muffins, did mald ever get his rsps running again after the previous complications?
  9. what I'm doing meaning what? asking to see if it's possible or?
  10. So I had an old account named "Jbotter" a while back but I've since moved and lost the credentials. I'm curious as to whether or not I can get the postcount, rep, and scripts transferred if I can provide proof that it was my account? Thanks!
  11. Hello all, I'm sure we all have a skill we've always wanted to learn whether it's to draw, to play guitar, to surf, to code, or anything else you find interesting. I know personally there are several skills I've always wanted to learn yet some how always find a way to procrastinate until that thirst for learning goes away. I encourage you all to give this a quick watch, it's definitely worth it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtJy69cEOtQ
  12. So the title pretty much says it! What would be the best way to learn scripting with little to no prior knowledge? Books? Online programs? Thanks for any input!
  13. Wtf kind of hookers are you getting for $56? O.o
  14. I use to have another much more active account but I lost the info to it :P this was a couples years ago^
  15. only way to teach people something around here is usually to beat em over the head with it ;) too much effort to trim it down/edit
  16. VPS are typically used when you simply don't have enough computing power to have multiple bots running. For example, your computer may be able to handle 4 clients but with the rented computing power of a vps you're able to run 20 accounts. As far as IP's go, find a proxy provider who is reliable, and uses clean ips. Public proxies have been used-and-abused by many botters and are therefore already flagged by jagex and blacklisted, aka they're under heavy monitoring or may be strictly banned from use when it comes to playing rs. You can search around the marketplace on the forums to find clean proxies for botting, you can plug in proxies into your osbot client therefore having a clean ip per account. As far as a playable account goes, don't play an account on an ip that's already been blacklisted. Ip's are blacklisted when you've been banned for macroing (botting) an account on that ip in the past, jagex keeps logs and documentation of all of this. An example may be, you're botting 2 accounts on your computer, and playing 1 account at the same time. Jagex will flag the ip of the two bots and ban them, and then they'll review your account (sometimes manually look through your account logs) to see whether or not you've had contact with those bots, and if you have, you'll be banned too, yes even if you haven't botted on your main, it can still be banned for playing on the same ip as bots. Though manual reviews are rare, I've had several happen, also "chain bans", which are similar to manual reviews, are when multiple bots play on one ip and jagex bans all accounts currently active on that ip. An example of this would be, you have 3 combat bots, 1 wcing bot, 1 fishing bot, all on your home ip address. Your fishing bot is flagged for macroing, and which raises question to the other active accounts on the ip address, after their systems (or moderators if it's a manual review) detect suspicious activity on the other accounts, you'll have all accounts that are being played on that ip banned. In this case, you wont be "ip banned" as you might on a rsps, but you'll have all accounts permanently banned that have been playing on that ip, therefore you'd have to create more accounts to play on, but since that ip has macroing bans on it already it'll be under monitoring. Bans are a fascinating subject, I personally would run tests where I'd change a slight variable every time and document the efficiency/lifespan of the bot. An example of these experiments would be 50 accounts would cut oaks at vwest using script A, then 50 accounts at vwest using script B, then 50 accounts at falador using script A and 50 accounts at falador using script B, I'd record how long each bot lasted as well as the efficiency to gather an average of efficiency/lifespan then decide which location/script would best suit me. Bans are mostly trial and error, and chances are most people won't spoonfeed you 100% of what you need to know, how ever if you pick peoples' brains you'll get an idea of what you need to do in order to survive in the botting community. I often times tell newcomers, don't focus on not getting banned, instead expect to be banned and strive to get the most out of your accounts before they're banned. Once you get a better understanding of the ban system, you can move onto focusing on not getting banned at all ( very hard to do ). Best of luck to you, if you have any questions feel free to shoot me a message and i'll answer to the best of my ability. Cheers!
  17. Hello all, just curious as to how long it may take to learn how to create basic scripts that run well. Assuming we're talking from scratch (I'm sure all info I know is fairly out-dated), how many hours would it take for somebody to efficiently learn how to create a well-built, but basic script? An example could perhaps be a jug filler, or a soft clay maker. Thanks for your input!
  18. not even kidding I use to face time my phone, then point the camera towards my computer, then i'd take my wireless mouse and ipad that was face timing the phone pointed at my computer into the bathroom and take a shit/bath that way I could flick restore hp at nmz while dhing.... otherwise getting shitfaced always seems to either A. make me wake up with a few levels gained, or B. my entire bank missing, or C. me muted... ;)
  19. it wasn't me @ towel :D, but 150k are you sure? that seems a bit low for hand done accs in comparison to other replies. Let's all assume the accounts were hand done, with non-suspicious names, probable outfits, and walked to the g.e? would 250k-300k be fair then? or is that a bit too high? thoughts?
  20. skill at PC, warriors guild, barb fishing, there was once a method where you could do something in the blastfurnace minigame for str xp but I believe they replaced that with dwarf npcs due to lack of participation...
  21. if you bot on the same ip you play your mule on, you'll get ip chain banned for suspicious activity. otherwise, jagex does keep logs on trades etc so if a manual review indicates that X amount of macro banned accounts traded your mule, they'll review it to find you xfered gold onto it therefore making it the profit of your botting :P jagex is smart, they do this for a living.
  22. Hello all, back when I was into the botting community some 7/10 accounts that would bot tutorial island would be banned within 24-48 hrs. I'm rather curious as to whether or not this is still the case. If anyone has any information regarding the ban rate of tut-island botted accounts, and ways to get around that please feel free to elaborate :), also, are there any effective ways to fully automate the account creation process? IE: false email used, username/password generated and placed in a .txt file, client retrieves info from .txt file and starts script accordingly. Thanks for any help you may provide!
