  1. It doesn't require the item when starting the queue (i.e. doesn't try to go to G.E.), but then when it goes to bank for required items, it requires the tabs.

  2. DMM mode does that afaik, I added that a long time ago when someone requested it but I've never really run it myself, it just disables all teleports

Oh okay, thank you very much, I will try it out

  3. No, their "insurance" is fucking bullshit. Only time I've ever chargebacked was because they refused to uphold the $50 of insurance I bought on a $350 account that was recovered less than a month after purchase (and the guy has 100% positive rep over 40 sales). I've never had a problem with recovery for the other 20+ accounts I've bought from PA (different games), but it seems like 99% of the RS community is a bunch of fucking scumbags who need to scam over $50 for lunch money.

With that being said, I bought an account from muffins a little while ago and, even though he resold it to me, he guaranteed money back if the account got recovered. In general, I would not trust a single soul who is not well established in at least two communities. If they have a solid reputation, it is not worth their reputation to scam you over less than a few hundred dollars in most cases.

  4. I don't get why everybody uses rsbuddy api, when there's GE api to grab accurate prices from?

    No h8, jw

OSBuddy prices are much more accurate, as they update every time an item is bought/sold, whereas the official GE prices only update once every 12 hours (iirc)

  5. If someone wants to make me a thread layout / simple graphics, it would be much appreciated.  Thanks!

    Features:

    • Displays total bank value (sell-able items)
    • Gets real-time price data from OSBuddy
    • Copies data to clipboard in ascending order, so that you can easily do this: http://pastie.org/10667969
    Instructions:
    • Start near a bank
    Enjoy! smile.png

  6. Jagex doesnt ban bots straight away. They detect a bot, read its patterns, then look for those patterns in other players. Then when they are confident that they have detected all of the bots that are running the same script, they ban them all at once

They will basically autoban flagged IPs.  But yeah, your post is mostly correct

  7. This happened in a League of Legends bot that I worked on - scripts would be voted upon, and on the equivalent of the SDN, would be displayed according to the number of upvotes. However, when new scripts came out, they never had a chance because everyone just downloaded the most popular one (even if the newer one was of better quality). I think a possible solution to this is to have some sort of up vote system which is reset every month. However, it would have to be monitored pretty well to prevent vote manipulation (i.e. scripters requiring users to upvote in order to get a script trial, etc.). With this in mind, however, it might be more work than it's worth.

  8. Its a free script so im not looking to over complicate it. But the mouse movement ill check that out. Just like you ,i like making ym scripts play the way i do. If it isnt into my liking then i update it. Its a free script so im not worrying about it too much. Ive been busy lately so........

Yeah, no worries man.  I don't mind honestly, I think having options open to people is a good thing.  I don't mean to give the impression that mine is really "better", and don't want it to seem like a competition or anything; just another option available :).

  9. What type of antiban does your have, that mine doesnt?

Well I only used yours for a short period of time, but it continuously moved the mouse at the player's feet, back and forth.  I don't know, maybe you play that way, but I usually write my scripts to simulate how I sorta play the game.  I don't mean any disrespect towards you, I just like writing my own scripts for the most part so I know what is in them and how things are implemented

  10. One small tip:

    NPC banker = npcs.closest("Emerald Benedict");

When tryign to get a npc, you can only detect npc's in a range of +-16 tiles. (visible on minimap/ onscreen)

if the npc is out of the range it won't be possible to detect it, you'll have to manually walk closer to hes possible locations smile.png

I can assume if this emerald guy walks to the far end corner it won't be possible to detect him bcs hes right outside of the range biggrin.png

Just guessing this^ I just saw you did a null check at the end if he couldn't be found.

    Khaleesi

    Thanks :).

Because the area is so small and it interacts with the closest vault, (assuming you start near the banker) the npc should always be in range.  I might be wrong, in which case I will fix it immediately once someone reports the error ^^.
