I know the difference between scripts and bots, and I specifically stated I wanted to make BOTS in the OP. Honestly your post sort of pisses me off, because first off, you didn't even read the OP properly, then you proceed to comment without contributing at all, and then you even imply that I don't know the difference between scripts and bots. What? I read the OP...? You said you wanted to make some BOTS. If you wanted to make a bot, why would you make more than one? Do you realize how complicated it is to make a bot? We clearly have different definitions of scripts and bots if you think you could create multiple BOTS by yourself? No, I meant it as in "how are bots made?" Even if I wanted to make multiple bots, that is totally irrelevant to the question - how bots are made, and how I would get started with making a bot - and you comment still wouldn't be productive in any way.

I'd choose Debian over Ubuntu any day IMHO. Also, couldn't you just install a DE with the package manager that comes with CentOS? Also, if I where you I wouldn't use a VM as that would decrease performance.

I already have very good knowledge of Java, what would be the smartest way for me to start learning the API and start making some bots?

Well there's a few combat scripts that support banking.. I think I'll bot willows in draynor with a lot of breaks (like 8 hours every 16 hours or something) or bot monks in edgeville with a ton of breaks.

Yeah but I don't know any good combat scripts that are in a really uncommon area. I basically have no quests done, and as I"m going away for quite a while the script must support banking and eating, so yeah... Bit of a problem there.

Yes I am aware.. That's why I'm asking. It's probably a better idea to either train combat or collect swamp tar. I'll try a test run with QWarriors later today, see if I die instantly.

Forgot to mention I'm also 1 def and like less than 30 hp. Honestly if I can't bot woodcutting I'll probably have to stick with monks in edgeville. Even though it's bad xp at least it's safe and I don't have a risk of dying and my bot doing nothing for the next 3.5 days.

So yeah basically I'm going away for 4 days.. What should I bot and where? I've got 74 woodcutting as of right now as well as 40 attack and strenght. Basically I can choose between yews/magics and combat, which would give me the lowest change of getting banned, and where should I bot it?
