Racism is an understandable result of what you see on the streets. African Americans in the United States and North Africans/Arabs in Europe cause more crime than Caucasians and usually make up (almost) the majority of prisoners in prisons while still being a minority. Now, is this because of their skin color? Indirectly, yes. The skin color of a person indicates where he or she originates from and people from Africa/The Middle East usually didn't enjoy a good education and have different moral codes (such as women being inferior to men in Islam). This can explain their behaviour in Western countries. Integration is also a problem, when people don't feel like they're a part of society they are less likely to have a problem with hurting that society. I still view racism as something negative though, racism only causes more anger among immigrants causing even more problems (more crime for example).
