Depends is java installed in the browser you would need that to run mirror mode in the browser, also the proxy problem is it a socks 5 proxy? be sure all the information you are putting in on the proxy authentication is correct, but it looks like the problem is with the VPS, but I could be wrong contact the VPS provider.
