I can see you being against my solution because you would lose some post count but your solution causes a different problem, the problem of users spamming in other parts of the forum just to be able to post in the "Spam" section.

I can see your reasoning but i think banning new users from that area is the wrong way of solving the problem. A better solution could be not counting posts made in that section.
