Hey all,
When I first saw that bonds were introduced into OSRS, I thought "OH SWEET! Now I can buy membership with the gold that I bot!"
Something that is interesting to not is that Jagex says that they introduced bonds to "fight the bots" and at first I thought they were just idiots. BUT, after having a few accounts banned recently I think that they might be on to something. The majority of people buying bonds for membership are going to be botters or high level chars who have a lot of gold or 12 year olds whos parents won't buy membership for them. I believe that buying bonds might flag you to be looked at under more scrutiny later.

Quoting Maldesto: No one has actually been banned from "mirror client" only and not botted before on another client or the regular client. Any one that tells you they have are usually lying. There may be some rare cases where an actual mod catches you and bans you.

?I have no reason to lie. I am slightly upset about this ban because I put a decent amount of actual time into it as well. It was a fresh account and only used mirror client. I was fishing salmon at camelot. Then I logged in today and was walking to fishing guild and then BOOM kicked and when I tried to log back in it was disabled

How many hours did you bot daily? 4-5
Did you take breaks, if so how long? varying. would usually bot 2.5hrs at a time with breaks from 6-14 hours
Did you bot before on any other client, or the non mirror client? nope
How many accounts did you bot at one time? 1
What skill were you training? fishing with perfectfisher
Trained combat by hand to not look like bot. Would babysit, and many times would chat with people by hand while it was fishing. Did 2 quests. Honestly surprised it got banned. Im not really sure how it did.

Also, sometimes in the altar it will keep clicking outside of the area to make the runes and keep trying to run away from the altar.

So I've been testing this script and the only thing I've noticed is that I was doing the RoD method of fire runes and the clicks seemed TOO fast. Like faster than a human could do

I can add an option to prioritize camera to top/bottom if you guys want - there's a method in the osbot api which makes it easier
I think this would be a nice option to have. Overall, script going strong still. I'm on day 3 and level 61 fishing!

Can someone explain bot worlds to me and how they work? Do you get randomly switched to one of these worlds if they think you are botting? And also, what happens if I just start out on one of these worlds? And then, what about these worlds is different?

Why is the dropping for powerfishing incredibly slow? This script becomes overall very very slow overtime, in just minutes...
Note: I am using mirror client.
Edit: Hmm this seems to happen if I run 2 bots
Are you using the special driopping? I noticed that was really slow for me too. I turned it off and it works fine with the normal OSBot dropping.

This script is insanely good, got level 1-57 in 2 days. Only issue atm is it runs to rimmington sometimes on mirror client, I know this is probably because of the client but I just wanted note that.
Does this happen when you bank lobs from karamja? I think I was noticing the same thing.

I think they need bots in a weird way... Because you say they use info for their botWatch, but if they instant banned people then they wouldn't need botWatch lol. All this is very interesting though. Thanks for explaining

Yes they can detect most bot clients and identify them specifically. But if injected in the right way, it becomes way harder to detect at the client level. The Mirror Client mode on OSBot does that and proves that many bans are based on client detection for the biggest part, seeing as how much lower the banning rates are on the Mirror mode. The standard mode on OSBot is similar to the injection methods most other bots use and comes with a higher ban rate.

@ person above me: They gather information for their machine learning systems. Just logging in a bot client won't get you banned as their detection system is not solely based on client detection, but probably also on gains (xp, wealth etc) and behavioural patterns learned by their machine learning systems. It may get you banned though by just logging in alone.
Like I already said, I think the mirror client proves the point. Besides that, they have publicly admitted they can identify most main stream bigger bots specifically. As a developer I know why and how they do it.
Can you explain? It doesn't make any sense to me why they wouldn't ban immediately if they could detect you using a bot. Why should they even let the people botting play at all?
The only thing I could think is that botters pay for membership and they make money off of that.

would this account be good at staking(boxing)? I feel like you could really troll some people into thinking they could beat you but then they never hurt you and you slowly kill them 1hp at a time

So it doesn't have anything to do with how OSBot is specifically programmatically structured, as opposed to other bots?
I think it has been confirmed though they wait a while before banning you so that bot developers can't identify what is causing those bans.
This is all just speculation, but I personally don't think it has anything to do with OSBot specifically. To your 2nd point, I will have to agree with what was said above. If they could detect OSBot (or any other botting client) they would just ban you immediately. There would be no point to waiting to ban people.
Think about it if they waited, they would effectively just be trolling developers because they could solve their problem immediately by banning people right away. While I believe Jagex sucks, I don't think they would troll that hard lol.

My understanding is that they can tell if you are using a modified client, like OSBuddy for example. It may be something to make them look at you more closely, but doesn't necessarily mean that you are botting.

good luck man. I've been using dreamfighter on the mirror client the past few days and it has been working flawlessly for me. only ran for maybe 7 hours total though.

Just bought this and he is currently setting up my bot farm. He has been incredibly helpful thus far and hopefully everything will run smoothly. Will update here when everything is set up and running.

Not sure how difficult this would be to add, or if it's even worth it. But a checkbox that brings up a client chat kinda like dreamfighter if you've used that. That way we don't mess up the bot if we want to type to some a-hole asking if there are bots around lol
