    I need advice for jad

    I have never attempted jad before and I really want to try on my own without buying the service from someone else.

     

    My relevant stats are

     

    70 defense

    70 range

    53 prayer

    70 hit points

     

    I am unfortunately broke though so my armor isn't the best but it consist of

     

    600 diamond E bolts

    obsidian shield/guthix/saradomin book

    rune crossbow

    ava's accumulator

    barrows gloves

    snake skin boots

    ring of recoil

    amulet of glory

    black d hide body/legs

     

    I also have a darkbow and proselyte stuff as well as archer helm if any of those might be more suitable.

     

    But yes none of the fancy barrows armor/weapons.

     

    Given my stats/equipment what is my likelihood of success/ability to learn how to beat jad?

     

    I would also like to know what pots/other things to bring and how much of each.

    The best advice that i can give you is to stay calm as possible, if you can manage that you will be good. A lot of people die because they start to panic. But other then that your stats are good for it!

    1 week 10h a day "only" jesus man..

     

    I basically live on the services so playing that much is not a big deal for me, i mean i have to play that much if i want to earn money haha

    Getting slayer xp on an obby mauler is miserable. It took me forever to get 55 slayer. Make sure you start you use your range and mage wisely as it will speed up the process, but you can't get too high or you won't be an obby mauler any more.

     

    If you start maging and ranging till 55 slayer you can get 60 mage and 67 range by the time you will get 55. The combat will be maxed obby mauler combat and then you can just get 99 str without combats :) thats how i did my obby pures!

    This is the fastest way to do it. Get 40 combat first and use vanneka. Ranging and maging till 55 slayer is the fastest way on an obby mauler. If you melee it with a maul, you will get 2-3k slayer exp per hour. if you range/mage it will go up to 3-5k exp per hour. And another great thing about vannaka is that he gives ice warriors task some times, which will be 8-10k slayer exp in just one hour! i've got 55 slayer on several accounts and it takes 1 week of 10 hours a day only to get 55 slayer smile.png goodluck!

    best weapon to train a 1 attack obby pure?

    the title says it all….

     

    The best weapon to train the obby pure is the maul with the zerker necklace, ive gotten a slayer staff on the pure, and let me say it was a huge waste of 1 week of grining...the slayer staff was averaging out 25k exp per hour with 79 str and i was getting the same amount with the obby maul. The slayer staff is as strong as a addy scimmy. So im sure that the the maul is definitely the best thing to use.

    Depends on what you are aiming for buddy. If you want to make some decent cash, then you should catch red chinchompas. But on low levels its pretty annoying to hunt them because they brake so many traps. But if you are aiming for best exp, red salamanders are definitely your best option!  Ones you hit lvl 80+, red chinchompas become better for exp i believe. But i never really liked hunting them due to how much work you have to put into them. I always liked catching red salamanders because they are easy to do biggrin.png

    if you get 70 you will have to level up atk due to whip 

     

    Zerkers usually use a d scimmy to be lower combat levels and some get a whip, but its not a big difference i've seen a lot of fights and the difference beetween a whip and d scimmy in a pk fight is not a big difference. getting whip is a waste of combat levels unless if your maxed and just want to use a whip :D
