  1. Not to bad. I chose a cheaper route due to the lack of funding at the time, my bank only being around 230m and 150m+ of it being sunk into gear.

Although I mentioned spending 90m for 90 construction, which is considerably more than the 40m I spent for 99 crafting, I feel that certain skills (albeit construction being considered a money sink by most) have more benefit than some others thus I am willing to sink more gold into one as apposed to another. Construction would yield some very useful things, while crafting.. at least my opinion, not so much. Crafting was more of a spare of the moment.. 'let's go for a buy-able skill that is considered more on the rare side compared to skills such as Cooking or Fletching', at the same time keeping what I spent in doing so in a reasonable margin based on my own opinions of its usefulness. However! Battlestaves are decent xp p/h which is why I assume you decided to spend the extra cash, as apposed to the method I chose. I can understand that, which is why I spent 90m on 37.5k Mahogany Planks rather than 39m on 106k Oak Planks. The time difference there is considerable.

Nice :) I spent mine on crafting because there was only 3.5k people with 99 craft at the time, I do somewhat regret it now as its not even on my main but in saying that it was a fun experience especially being my first legitimate 99, battlestaves with mousekeys was a solid 300-350k p/h in xp and I guess thats why I spent the extra 30-40M!

  2. Mazda rx model cars have rotary engines, they last about 100,000 KM (do a conversion for miles) before the engine shits itself (on average) unless you're buying the RX-8 for performance and a bit of fun then I'd go with that, if you'd prefer a reliable daily drivers car settle with the Series 3. :)

  3. Taking some time off of osbot for probably a month or two (I hope). Need to focus on my studies more. If you need to contact me I will usually be on skype but as for site activity it will probably be a little low. Just putting this as a heads up in case of suspicious threads or trades in case I become compromised.

    Thanks,

  4. I speak in a manner that's offensive but not so much so that I may be reported.

P.S. You're a poo head and I'm telling your mum.

lmao get your head out of your ass. :)

Report me if you like but don't post unless its on topic thanks.

On topic: Gary's Hood is most likely the safest option as jagex have sorta allowed use of it over the years for its auto talker, its nostalgia but useful.

  5. well, you could also spend money in renting some dedicated servers from ovh instead of buying 1 dedicated server IRL.Only if you know your method is stable enough to make stable money from.

I've considered it a lot but I've found ways I can make money using my server through IRL needs in my town + its half price for myself considering my friend is buying it as well, I may also look into web hosting and other things in the future.
  6. it's gonne be hard if you are planning on running only 30,i would say if you can run up to 200 or more then your goal is possible.

Thank you for the advice, Ive been saving heavily for a server I can open from my workshop which will be ready for botting and other things.

haha man I'm not saying you wouldn't profit, I'm just saying that you may not achieve your profit expectations... 30 bots at 600k an hour is 36m/hr

for every successful idea you need to look at the negatives and see if the positives outrule them, so I'll list out all the negatives for you

You need proxies and bonds to run this

You would probably need to find different methods for some accounts because if you are running 30 bots you might crash the market on the item or you might not find a good world for it

bans and some other stuff I can't think of :D

    Right scripts

Thank you for the advice, if you don't mind taking the time could you possibly pm me some info on the negatives :)

  7. facep.gif You asked if your goals were realistic and he told you that if you have no experience then no, they aren't realistic at all. What's the point in asking for advice if you only listen to the yes men?

I'm not asking whether I should do it or not I just want to know more realistic numbers and methods so I can attempt to start making $, I'm a successful person when my mind is on the right track and without major farming experience I was asking for advice on how to do it, not on whether I can start or not lmao, l2read pls.

  8. break it down,15$ is about 14M/hr... you would have to own 15-20 bots with around 800-1m/hr methods to make that money and this is only theoretically, you always risk bans and other difficulties such as bonds and you said you were only planning on making a small scale farm, so I am assuming this is a max of 10 bots so it's probably not likely

I plan on running at least 30 making at least 600k an hour, the farm will be quite big but the sales will be less consistent then the Money made until I develop a website.

Not going to happen. Don't ruin your life by expecting to make money from botting because you won't make a penny. Get a bot running for at least 30 days then consider starting a gold farm otherwise it's quite pointless.

This is not advice, negativity is never a good business mindset

  9. Hey all!

I plan to start gold farming with an IRL friend as we plan on moving into a rental home together, my goal is to make $15 USD per hour for eight hours a day ($120 USD per day) is this a reasonable and realistic goal? I would like to make at least $600 USD per week with the rest going to bonds and equipment for the bots. If this was to be realistic what tips could you give a noob like myself to help with this? I would love some successful gold farmers advice as I don't plan to be any competition to anyone just another smaller scale farmer making enough to live whilst studying.

    Thanks in advance!

    Pie :)
