  1. Dear OSBot community, About 4 months ago, I stumbled across OSBot. I immediately created a Forum account (at the time my name was QBallYungLane) and entered the chat. In the chat, I found a place where I could bond with people and interact. I made a lot of close bonds very quickly, and formed a sort of family within the community. I would always help out anyone and everyone who needed it. Over the past 4 months, it has been an amazing experience. However, all good things must come to an end. I am dissatisfied from the lack of caring, time, and decision making put in from the developers. Their actions are inexcusable and can not be justified. The staff team, most importantly @Raflesia, has held the community together and has made OSBot what it is today. If Raflesia was not on the staff team, I would have left this bot months ago. He has been/is my mentor, precedent, and more importantly, my best friend. The amount of time that he puts into the bot just to see his hard work tampered with by developers (Maxi) is extremely unnerving. Raflesia is the anchor to OSBot. The community that I've worked with and bonded with is the best community I have ever had the chance to be with. I've showed nothing but benevolence to every single member of OSBot and got only love back. That is the sign of a mature community. It has been my pleasure to do everything in my power to see to it that OSBot is in tip-top shape. Lastly, the staff team that I have had the pleasure to work with has been the most amazing thing I have ever encountered. The chemistry within it, and the close interpersonal bonds in the team make it what it is. It has been my pleasure to work with all of you. The amount of people that I've became friends with is gigantic, and I am sure that I will miss a lot of people. So please, do not be offended if you aren't on the list. @Raflesia @Master Chief @Smart @Catastrophe @Mikasa @Boots @Anon Thanks for the great memories, @Sherlock
  2. Dear community, In this release you will find the following bug fixes: setRunning() is now working properly again withdrawX() is now working properly again moveCameraToEntity() is now working properly again The world hopper is working properly again A small issue with minimap walking was resolved An addition has been made to several randoms to handle post solving dialogue continuation And a tool called the ExperienceTracker for easy tracking of experience. This can be found in the API pages here soon as it is being uploaded as we speak: http://osbot.org/api More fixes as required will follow soon. The download can be found here: http://osbot.org Sincerely, OSBot.org EDIT: As I came across a bug posted on the forums I squeezed in another fix, sorry for the sequential updates. v1.7.59 contains a fix regarding the break manager which would throw an exception.
  3. OSBot is down for a few days, everyone leaves. OSBot is up again, everyone comes back. Never ending cycle.
  4. I can sell you a earth staff lol
  5. Very interesting find. Furthers my beliefs that we need to conduct population control, otherwise we'll have raped the Earth of its natural resources within 50 years. The world is becoming too populated and there are no natural predators for mankind aside from natural 'disaster.' Is it really a disaster, though? We pollute the landscape with constructs that only humans benefit from, toxify the surrounding ecosystems and then move to a new area when we deem conditions 'unhabitable.'

  8. Hi Everyone, I've gotten myself into quite a mess in the whole of the black market tbh, not just on osbot but many sites and thats due to stupid mistakes ive made, well to be honest not even my own mistakes (well most of the times atleast.) All ive wanted to do is buy and sell gold freely, and be at the top, which i currently am and was on other sites, but small setups and tricks like this have put me into a mess. Anyway... OSBOT First i will clean up the OSBot "Imposter Scam" Theres only 3 ways this could of been done. FIRST ALTERNATIVE Ok firstly i will state "3lv3nz" the user that got my ban. Is currently banned on p****bot and sythe for hacking, scamming and black-hat hacking. I will not go into detail on this as i do not care. But what i am saying this could be One way this happened, (if i got hacked-which im pretty sure i didnt.) SECOND ALTERNATIVE Second Way, the user "3lv3nz" could of set this up. the way he done this was he was the imposter on 2 skype accounts. 1 of the skype accounts is called (I) and the other is called (sythebawz) He could of been messaging me on (I) and messaging himself on (sythebawz) and set this whole thing up so i would message him "hello". THIRD ALTERNATIVE The THIRD AND FINAL alternative is this thing called a "pm trick" This was explained by a global moderator on another website and is really hard to follow but i have come to understand it now. I'll explain it here. ^^ more to come soon..
  9. Sure there are a few reasons to leave, but I do think it's starting to become kind of ridiculous. As @GoldenGate said, a lot of people that say they are leaving, have come back. It feels like this community is brainwashing all of the new members into thinking that OSBot is awful, its really not that bad. The only problem I can think of is that the developers do not put in the time and effort that they should. It seems as if OSBot is 95% flawless (with the exeptions of a few randoms and some minor bugs). I have had several 100+ hour proggies, and I have never achieved that with any other bot. OSBot has its ups and downs, but nothing can be perfect. This whole "OSBot sucks we should all leave" is starting to really tear this site apart, and I think people should just chill out a bit. I think that the dev's are starting to put in a little bit more time into the bot, and we should just give it some time. It would be better if OSBot wasn't all dramatic, and we don't want the new members to think poorly of OSBot just because of this dramatic phase. Thank you
  10. I have a fancy dress party on Friday night so I won't be on. Try not to miss me too much! P.S. Hope the title didn't scare you too much.
  11. Alien ware makes solid pcs however they are overpriced imo. Building your own is always the most price efficient. You will get more for your money. You can also use websites like I buy power to design your own

What I've gathered from this thread. OSbot community cannot function when Mommy and Daddy are gone. The bot got updated - so what it took a while, and there was no notice of what is going on. It's pathetic all the chaos that has ensued over such a small matter, but then again this community has a lot of young user who haven't realized their immaturity yet. I also think the community needs to understand that the Devs of OSBot are working on OSBot2, while maintaining the current one; If you guys know anything about programming, you would know that this project is not as simple as it sounds - and you should understand that this a big community a simple post while the bot is down probably wouldn't have changed anything seeing as most of the outrage is out of plain ignorance, and immaturity. /endopinion.

  19. Before we get started on how to add the scripts, ensure you have the client downloaded. here's the download link for the client; Scroll down on the home page for the download! http://www.osbot.org Note: A friend of mine has released a .jar that actually moves local scripts to your OSbot folder automatically! Check it out at: http://osbot.org/forum/topic/33380-scrubs-script-installer/ - Courtesy of @TheScrub Heres a video if you do not wish to read the instructions; First up, SDN Scripts, they require NO download, all you have to do is purchase them from the store even if they're free it says purchase, and then the script is added to your client & account. Step 1: Choosing a Script,Go onto the store Section of the Website and choose the script/s that you wish to download. Note: The Repository/Store is constantly being updated with new scripts be sure to check it every once in awhile. Step 2: Purchasing and downloading the Script, once you have selected your script, click on it and you will get a screen like this; For free scripts For free scripts click on the button in the middle of your navigation bar at the top of your screen. And then from the subsection select a skill/area that you want your script to train under. For example; Agility Then click 'Add', Which will add the script to your account, make sure that you are logged in, otherwise this process will not work. If you wish to remove a script click the button that appears in place of the 'Add' button after a script has been added. For Premium scripts off of the Store. Once you find a script that you wish to purchase, click 'Add to Cart' After you've done that, there is one final interface before your scripts are added to your account. Agree to the Terms & Conditions and choose your Payment method then click 'Confirm Order' and you're finished, congratulations on adding your scripts FREE SCRIPTS ARE NOW LOCATED HERE http://osbot.org/mvc/sdn/scripts/ For 'Local Scripts' .jar Secondly, Local Scripts, (.jar & .groovy) the ones most new users do not know to add. NOTE: Ensure your Java is up to date and you have JDK (Java Development Kit) Step 1: Finding & Choosing a Local Script You must head over to the OSbot forum main page, and scroll down to Local Scripts. You then choose from the sub sections what kind of script you're looking for. For example, Combat & Slayer, Fishing & Cooking etc... Step 2: Downloading the Script (.jar) In this example I'm downloading the DicloniusMTA Script (My personal favorite) Once its downloaded head over to your C Drive then to 'Users', your user (Name etc...), OSbot, Scripts, and simply copy or drag the .jar file into the script folder from your downloads folder, once you've done this you've added the script NOTE: If you're struggling to find your OSbot folder, hit your start button and use the search bar to look for 'OSbot' and there it is Groovy Scripts are scripts where you have to copy the code into say, a Notepad file for example and save it as .groovy, and repeat the same process as .jar, by inputting it into your Scripts folder, I'd advise making a shortcut to it, to save time. If for some reason your script encounters an error, be sure to copy the error writing at the bottom of your client, the writing will look like something like this, followed by an error. By copying the log and posting it on the script thread, the scriptwriters can analyse the error and implement a fix. THIS IS FOR MAC USERS Credits to: @Blue Herbs To start out, open up finder Then click on Go and then hold the Option key which will show the hidden Library tab. Click on it. Make sure you are looking through your user. Then find the Osbot folder. Then click Scripts and drag and drop your newly downloaded script into that folder. You are done! I hope this was helpful for any new users If you have any questions feel free to PM me
  20. Perfectly said. The hotshots around here left and told everyone what a crappy site this was which is why everyone was in a big fuss about the future of the site. Now that their gone *cough* @Dashboard *cough* I can't wait to see how much of a better community and client we will be in the future.

  28. i'v had problems with it ever sense i got it...wouldnt suggest getting one Alienware's M##X series are well known for having critical flaws. The M11X had a hinge on the screen that would consistently break, the M14X is known to overheat. From the limited explanation you've provided, your system is running too hard and can't cool itself. Typical Alienware; people need to understand that Alienware is not the best, they typically overclock their systems to absurd degrees and pump all of their systems full of ridiculous amounts of LEDs that ultimately cause overheating. Getting back on point, give your fans a look. Another potential issue may be that the connections inside of the laptop itself are loose. If all else fails, you can always send it back in under warranty for replacement and then get another one that has a similar issue. Ignorance spreads in a manner like this; One person tells three people that something is excellent. Those three people tell another three people, and in turn those three tell another three. The numbers get big really fast, that small chain leads up to 27 people with the wrong idea. EDIT: Fun fact, Alienware is a subset of Dell. That should explain everything.

Requesting lock on this post from administration.
  31. no, this is a problem with maxi's break taker which has been going on for the past 2 months. either disable the break taker or manually log in before starting a script. The error is due to your player is null until you log it. It checks it before it's initialized. Yet another wonderful thing that hasn't been fixed and i've been complaining about for the past few months. whoopie

Faith is a very powerful thing in this universe OT: What does this quote mean to you if you don't mind me asking. An important thing to discuss is one of the most well-known aspects of Nietzsche's philosophy: his influence on existentialism, as well as his critiques of religion. For Nietzsche, the greatest problem for man is how we justify our lives, and make them meaningful and valuable. He believes that the justification of life through morals and values leads to nihilism, and that is what he sees happening around him. Therefore, Nietzsche believes that we need to justify our lives not through morals, or God, but rather through the highest form of earthly man, Superman. Basically, the role of the Superman is to pursue that beyond the morals, and to suppress the instinct side of ourselves that we discussed earlier. The Superman is the goal of humanity. Rather then setting out goal on things that are not real, i.e., God and morals, it makes more sense to set our goal on creating a Superman of ourselves. Nietzsche believes that Platonism and Christianity distract us from our pursuit of being the Superman, because they rely on reason and faith. Both reason and faith share the feature of having a moral conception of the world. This is seen in Western Civilization as follows: For humanity to enjoy security, they must project their desires onto the world as morals and values. This creates a false world beside this world, and the false world is invented by lies. The false world, morals, values, God, and absolute truth are all words for the same mistake. It is not just that got does not exist, but that God is a lie, and the word God and morals are two things that mean the same thing. The entire concept has been created by humanity and has become a distraction. The death of God signifies the end of this distraction, whereby mankind can now pursue earthly duties to the real world. It is the false world that creates nihilism, and the death of the lies that lifts us from this state. The Superman lives beyond the concepts of good and evil. The Superman pursues self-mastery, and is able to return to life and rejoin nature. Nietzsche did not believe that all beings are equal. He believed in an order of rank. The idea of equality was something of the past, something advocated by God, and with God dead we can now see that it too is a lie. Nietzsche believed that there were higher men, and lower men, just as in nature there are dominant members of the pack, and submissive members of the pack. Nietzsche believed that the idea of equality was created by lower men, to bring the higher men down to their level. The lower man makes up most of society, and is the typical man whose only goal is to suppress his instincts. However, the higher man not only possesses great power, creative power, and strength, but also he is able to keep all of these things in control. The higher man has a strong will to power, and can basically suppress instincts. For Nietzsche, the only value of a human is what qualities that human acquires, and the value of humanity exists solely in creating Supermen. With lies such as God gone, the only objective now is to become a Superman. So you see, he is not saying that God is physically dead, but that God is an outdated concept that we humans need to break free from. I have to disagree with some of his philosophy, but i do agree with a lot of it. I don't agree with the rank, i believe status of existence is simply a illusion of the mind. I believe peoples morals and values are actually more based on being judged by others than religion, of course then again i don't live in a city where people are die hard Christians or are too deep into a religion
  35. Yeah i've seen that. Been testing flax scripts and stuff aswell. Hard finding working ones. Was just curious what everyone else was doing so im not just wasting my time here, too lazy to play legit.. Unless i get high.. which might work. :3
  36. We never said it wasn't. You, @Maxi and @Laz both need to be present in the community because it's good PR and customer service. yea thats not going to happen..... laz tries as mch as he can even though hes like 17-18 and tries to balance school with osbot and his life...... but for maxi OSBot is his business........
