July 30, 201312 yr First off, I know the risks of botting. I don't usually post about my bans but these ones have me wondering whats going on. First off I recorded all the information about the ban from the first step to the last. Both were accounts are on the same IP which is probably "flagged" but I still have several other bots running so I can monitor them and I also use a VPN on another computer for my 24/7 farming. I bought a pin from Occazn at around 4:15pm my time (Australia GMT+10) this pin was applied to a fresh account that was referred from another fresh account. I then used "another bot" to do the tutorial because I absolutely hate the shit out of it. After completion I gave my fresh accounts axes to adamant and a camelot teleport tab and send them on their way using my own script to get ready for yews (yeah I know high ban rate). They were running for 8 hours no breaks before I shut them down and went to bed at around 12:30am, during that time they got from level 1 - 57 without me touching them. I log in at around 1:13pm to start them on their way to 60 again, within a minute I was banned on the first account in world 304. Curious I started the other account in the same world manually and watched it get disconnected within 2 seconds (just enough time to check member days). Checked both accounts message centres and both were bot busting moderate bans (2 days). I have one other account that I started at the same time as these accounts but isn't linked by referr a friend and it's on the same world botting. Waiting for it to be disconnected so I can document it's ban also. What are your theories? Was my account flagged and on login they were certain I was botting and that warranted an instant ban? I thought it may be IP related but as I said above I still have another account going. Cheers
July 30, 201312 yr I believe that it was somehow linked through creation ip/refer a friend. Got a bunch of accounts banned y-day.
July 31, 201312 yr Well i don`t think they do IP flag, also refer a friend doesn't seem to matter. So far i`v 3 accounts banned 2 alive. All of those banned accounts weren't linked via RAF, and 2 accounts that are Still Alive, Are referred to banned accounts, yet alive - not for long i guess. Also i was at my gf`s house, and i had my bots left running at my house. So next day i tried to log-in my accounts one was banned, so i went to check second - and it DID log in, i was happy... but 5 seconds later it was disconnected - perm ban (I logged in via official RS homepage, it`s not that i was dc`ed and banned because of client, what many believe.) Basically bot Client and scripts need a major improvements, with how accurate clicks are, mouse tracing, moving camera and clicking at same time, all the idling and delays.. EDIT: Also i always believed that Jagex can easily catch all the bots, quality of scripts and clients have only been getting worse, when bot busting software is only advancing, it isn`t like in glory days of Nexus ibot client. THIS, every other 2007 botting community is getting these mysterious insta-login-bans. Its scattered and inconsistent, but prevalent enough that it should bring up the possibility of detection. I tried reaching out to the other community developers with no luck, they are all in denial about the detection and mysterious bans, and tell us we're all Ip flagged
