I currently have 55 defense 55 strength and 70 attack. I am trying to find the best way to get 99 defense any ideas? Would be nice to have some afking in their somewhere also.

do pest control, train combat down there and use the pest control points on def

I would suggest getting 70/70/70 then nightmare zone with full DH.

 

Yea that sounds like what I'm gonna do I just got whip but str and def training is so boring. 

For strength, SS at red spiders the same applies with defence.

 

Where are those located? What combat level for SS?

You just need 70 attack I believe (the special attack also gives you magic EXP), they are on like the third floor of the stronghold of security.
