I read this on other forums a while ago and i want to know what you guys think or if you guys have tried this before.

 

So the trick is if you want to play legit on ur account, you play with ur normal ip.

 

if you want to bot, you bot on a proxy/vpn and if you get banned, you appeal to jagex and say check the ip to see if it was actually me. and according to some users, they have gotten their bans appealed. (the forum post was ~2013)

 

 

Not likely you get unbanned that way, Jagex is not stupid and they know proxies exist.

They say in their rules that you are responsible for your account so keeping your account secure is also your responsibility so it doesn't work anymore

It used to though, I've had a ban quashed claiming hacked

Yep, this used to work but I'm not sure if it still does.
