the gif is clean because it's sped up, so its not very usefull most of the time

ok so then you have to change it to the proper one before using this

as in if I wanted to open an image into PS instead of picture viewer or something.

 

Or a url shortcut to chrome instead of ie or firefox

that's set up to your default settings in windows, if you have set a link to chrome as default, the program will open chrome when opening a link.
