Why is there a BET channel (Black Entertainment Television) but no White Entertainment Television?

There probably isn't one because there is no need for one.. The answer to this is a simple google. BET was created when blacks werent allowed to be on other channels with whites so they created a network for blacks. Which was like 50 years ago which is not a long time ago. I mean it isn't any different than another white dominated network with their token black actors.
