could you please help me with this?

 

I am looking for a new notebook for my girlfriend (amazone cyber monday week sales)

 

She uses it the main time for internet surfing (netflix and so on), for word, excel and powerpoint

 

I want it to be very fast for this kind of use,

so my question is, would you rather go with an I3 and SSD and 4gb ram or an I5 with HHD and 8gb ram.

 

I found this one for 499€

She has a sony vaio at the moment ( i3 4gb ram) and it is very very slow even though it is new set up

this notebook has 2gb ram and a 5.5ghz processor

If it were me I'd go with:

I5 with HHD and 8gb ram

 

I used to have an I3 with 4gb ram, it could get the job done really well, just doing runescape, some editing, websurfing

However, the I5's aren't too expensive right now and make quite a big difference in comparison to the I3, so just go with that for the safer option
