OSBOT mirror mode doesn't work on mac?

Considering there is no OSRS client for mac apart from the osbuddy (and if you change the path in .plist). Does this mean mirror mode doesn't work? 

 

I have just tried launching the RS3 client (with the changed plist) although the mirror mode only seems to connect to osbuddy, which doesn't work itself.
