Galaga
If you do not respond players will report you for macroing. of course. But won't Jagex see that you had private off?

Galaga
Sure, but first they will see that you were botting. How do they know that though? They could see that you were muted first. It takes more than just one guy reporting you to get you banned. Think about all the reports that go around daily. 75% of them are bs. Why would they check your chat history before determining whether or not you are a bot - this isn't 2008 or some shit - they have a way more effective system that can quickly and accurately tell them if the player under review is macroing. It's not hard for them to check/hardly takes any effort so why wouldn't they do it, and why would they care that you are muted.

Picture all the places you have been where there are bots. And people report them. And they are still there days.. weeks later. Just because someone gets reported doesn't mean that they are automatically put under review for macroing.. If they banned everyone who has been reported, I guarantee you the game would be dead. And chill man no one is attacking you here. Edited October 12, 2015 by Nuclear Egg0

Point is if you get reported enough times for macroing, and they review your account, they will look for macroing first, and they won't give a fuck about whether or not your muted or your public chat is off. I see where you may think that. Have any proof?
