I am trying to interact with an item at a specific slot but I noticed that if you have the same item before the slot the interact method will interact that one.

 

I'll try to explain with code.

 
Item item = this.inventory.getItemInSlot(25);

if (item != null) {

        item.interact(new String[]{"Drop"});

}

If for example I am trying to drop the ashes found in slot 25 but I have another ashes in slot 1 the interact method will drop the ashes found in slot 1.

 

Is this how it should be?

Few things here.

 

1. Why are you creating a string array for a length of 1?

2. You are setting "item" to whatever item is found in slot 25, this is working correctly.

3. Look up InventorySlotDestination
