Failed to load client

Featured Replies

Hey All-

I've been getting the "Failed to load client" error along with others here on the forum. I have updated my Java to the latest version with no other version installed, have redownloaded the client multiple times as well as clearing the OSBot folder and deleting the folder itself. Does anyone have a fix or an explanation?

Thanks.

Ok, Thanks for the quick response. I was told by a friend that RS was updating. Is that the servers moving or in update in itself?

if thats true and it is Jagex's side than there is nothing osbot can do and it may just need updated (the client)

The amount of people with the issue are newcomers. I can't find anyone that has used the bot with no previous problems that is now getting this issue. That mean's it's on your side, not ours. Did you update your JDK and Java?

I have downloaded the JRE 7u25 for Mac, so I'm not sure if that covers Java or JDK. Is there a separate download that I should install?

(And on a side note, I'm not entirely new, I have used OSBot for around 1 & 1/2 months but I have created 3 different accounts in order to try and counter the "Failed to login" (hence the name) error that plagues me.)

So just because the majority of people currently experiencing problems are newcomers, it's a fault on their end?
I've followed every piece of seemingly legit advice I could find after scouring the web, from uninstalling anything Java to re-installing it, deleting the OSbot folder and re-downloading. Some new advice or even acknowledging that there is a problem would be greatly appreciated.
