I also have Java JDK 8.

I tried Old School Client, on Opera and nothing seems to work. No error or anything.

**FIXED**

I was able to fix it be uninstalling Java 64 bit and installing Java 32 bit instead. :)

Has your issue been resolved yet?

It has not, but what the problem I am having is when going to go on firefox to use mirror client (like I always have) runescape is making me download their  client to use. With their client it will not attach to it. But it could defeat the purpose of even using mirror client im not sure tho

Do you have 64bit Java installed? Have you tried running the OSRS client from RS?
