Featured Replies

I read Rusko's tutorial on setting up OSBot and i got everything correctly up to adding scripts. Can someone please explain to me what I'm supposed to do? How to diable hidden extensions and how to find that users/me/OSBot/Scripts folder.
Please help.

Most script pages will have their code in a box much like the quote box.

You copy that and paste it into a Notepad document. Then you click:

Save As

Change the box to say all files:

Type in the name of the Script.groovy:

Save the file in your Scripts folder for the bot!

i did that, but when i load the client and go to start the script nothing comes up on the script loader.

Did you click reload?

If not do that.

If that doesn't work, try deleting the client and folder and redownloading all, and restart.

Yeah, located in your OSBot folder should be a folder for Scripts.

If you don't find that, delete and redownload, tell me if that helps you and gives you the folder, you should get it automatically!!

i tried and i save the script as a word document. save as> -filename-.groovy> put it to "all files" and save into scripts folder. but when i load the client and hit the play button to load scripts no scripts come up.

Well I don't think I'm capable of helping you then if all else failed. Hmm, not sure. I know 2.0 comes out tonight, so maybe delete everything and wait and download that, maybe that will give you a script folder!

Sorry I couldn't solve your issue :(

Anytime, I'd suggest also that if no one else posts you Private Message a Moderator.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the screen on the main forum page: osbot.org/forum

The names in Orange are Moderators. Click on their name and it will take you to their profile. Click send user a private message, type up your problem and link this thread, hopefully they can help you a little bit better than myself.

will do thank you very much.

maybe try running osbot.jar as administrator? I don't see why you would need this but maybe it will allow the program to generate the files for you. Have you checked under all the users in C:Users the OSBot folder should be created there. Hope this helps
