Anyone know how many clients I can run with these specs?

Featured Replies

Want to know how many I will probably achieve with -

I7 4790k

Gtx 980

8gb ram

Need estimates based from how many you can run on similar stats as you cannot predict from the power just your previous experiences.

Mirror or injection?

Hmm not too experienced with mirror, it's mostly memory being used so with 8gb you're probably good with 8+ clients in mirror? I might be wrong though Lol. Your CPU is powerful enough, you might wanna turn on the minimal cpu setting in the clients as well if you need it :P

Mirror

Anywhere from 4-6. How much does one RS client cost you in CPU %?

Add that + your CPU from OSBot (will come under as Java.exe), and do (90 / (that value)) - that is how many clients you can run without any problems whatsoever.

with the i7 4970k you should be able run 5+ mirrors keep in mind its all dependent on the script you wish to run.

for eg. I can run 2 mirrors at blast furnace nearly maxing my cpu usage 100%

but with hunter or something less cpu needy 4-5

then again I have the i5 4670k.

Am interesting in what you run and how many because I am planning to upgrade to the i7 4970k with cpu cooling etc

keep us posted!
