    After a deal has been worked out with a service provider, I will simply take screenshots of all the items in my bank.

    I'd suggest taking screenshots before the service of your account and getting the service owner to verify it. That way, if anything were to go wrong you would have evidence against then. As they say, prevention is better than a cure.
