Dedicated server

Featured Replies

ey unskulled here,

Im planning to expand my bot farm,  but I cant find a dedicated server with the fitting requirements.

requirements:

- 12-8gb ram

- good cpu

- around 50-60$

- and it has to run around 8-12 bots

p.s. why no vps ?

because i whant to be sure to get the amount that im paying for, and i dont whant to be limted by somebody else on the same server.

some help would be appreciated :D:D

unskulled-

you could also consider buying a Server to put in your house, it would do the same an in the long run would be cheaper

I use http://www.ovh.com/us/dedicated-servers/ and I couldnt be happier with their 59$ server

but can it run 8-12 bots ? the only thing that worries me is the cpu :/
My mates got the i3 he runs like 4 bots 15% CPU, it's an i3

The i5 should definitely be able to run more than 12 bots.

On Linux.

I have the Xeon E3-1230 v2 and it runs 6 bots at 10% CPU.  Haven't tested more than 6. (equivalent to a non overclockable 3770k - even thought it is if you try hard enough :P)

Thought about buying a few home dedi's my self.

Would be well worth it for a number of things!

And when you are not using them you can still make money of them!
