I'd like there to be an evaluation of Xavier's source for his script "ATRareFinder." There's been MULTIPLE reports of partyhats simply disappearing (only out of the inventory) while using this script. I personally just experienced a sudden loss of 8 phats that were in my inventory (not banked), with this script being the ONLY script I have in my directory.

What does it do pickup the phats and then drop them for fun? I got 19 masks with this script np haven't ran it for phats because I got my 150m+ bank back that I lost.

Unless it is dropping the partyhats then I don't see how it would do anything else with them. What do you think it's doing?

Best of luck with this. Unless an admin failed to look over the changes before they pushed it, there should be nothing wrong with it.

I've also ran into some issues regarding items suddenly disappearing while using the script.

 

I contacted the creators and they were baffled as to how items would vanish, after troubleshooting the problem we came to the conclusion people may know how to manipulate the script into handing over items/money. Although this isn't 100% proof as nobody has witnessed this but the code seems solid and the creators are highly trusted so i doubt they're swindling peoples money for short term gains.

 

It's best to just babysit the script as you're dealing with personal wealth.

 

 

You guys are all complaining about scriptors maybe taking your items? First thing you do whenever you log in, look at the ip. It's very easy to see a new IP address.

Yea soo complaints about it, why doesn't someone just fraps their character overnight and see what it does?

That's not necessarily the case, they could have the script drop the items and pm the scripter...
