What do you need to have volume?

Featured Replies

I was deleting programs off my computer today, and about 30 minutes after I finished that up In noticed there wasn't a little speaker notification (volume control) at the bottom of my screen, so I went to my control panel > Sound & audio > and couldn't figure out what happened. After about an hour, I realized I deleted "Realtek audio high definition" So I rolled back my computer to the time before I deleted it, and now in the audio side, it says I have realtek. But In the volume part, it says I don't have one...help.

It is unlikely that the rollback would have recovered your realtek driver.

Identify the piece of hardware and search for its driver. I am betting realtek has online ones..

This is probably in the wrong section, but keep me updated if you need more help.

Find your driver online (very easy and make sure you go to Offical realtek website to download this, A LOT of viruses out there.)

Reinstall your headset drivers if there's any or re-connect it to the pc also try a new usb plug.

Thank you both so much. Got it back up & working.

Closing since your question was answered. :p
