This suggestion might be a little selfish but well...

When I joined this forum I was honestly just looking for a bot so I didn't really bother with finding a decent name but now that I'm a bit more involved i kind of regret choosing such a bad name so I would really like to see a name change feature getting implemented.

This is already in the features. Just go to your Profile > Edit My Profile > Display Name:

 

And from there you can change it
