is this worth it?

 

Well it's all just personal preference and taste.

All people enjoy different hobbies and comforts, and they do not mind spending extra earnings on them to live more comfortably.

 

If you are on the computer quite a bit and game, mechanical keyboards are highly recommended!

They build quality on them is phenomenal, they can last for years on years and hold up just fine.

 

You should really try and see if you can sample one for yourself to see and feel the difference they create.

Once you switch to one it just feels so odd and mushy going back to rubber domes!

For everyone that can't afford this keyboard

 

I highly recommend the Cooler Master Quickfire Rapid with Cherry MX Blue Switches.

 

You can get it for about $60-70 on eBay, and it feels great to type on, and it's really high quality and nice looking. Doesn't have any backlighting sadly but you don't really need that.
