VPS? Could anyone help me expand my intelligence ?

Featured Replies

I've read a couple of things about a VPS service being able to help you run more bots, but i'm not too knowledgeable beyond that, could anyone explain?

Huge thanks in advance to anyone that responds.

:)

A vps is like a computer, if you buy one with low specs it won't be miraculously able to run more bots just because its called a vps, they are the exact same thing as computers. They are basically servers that you can access remotely via their IP address

They are a computer, with internet capabality of connecting to it. I sell them with OSBot pre-installed if you would like.

A 24/7 virtual computer that's (if its a reliable VPS) is always on for you to run your bots on.

Depending on how much ram is dedicated to it it can run more or less bots without lag.

1gb is probably 1 bot with lag

2gb 1-2 at most

3gb 2 maybe 3

4gb about 3 no lag

5gb 3-4

6gb 4-5, more so 5

7gb 5-6

8gb+ 6-8 easily.

That seems pretty accurate from what I know. Some people might have other results.

It's not all about ram, I'm running 6 bots on 2GB ram, the CPU load is quite high, what really matters is the CPU.
