I've currently just set up a CentOS VPS with VNC for remote desktop access. I've installed multiple packages of different Java's but I still can't open any .jar files.The two .jar files I tried to open on the account called desktop I created. This account has sudo privileges by adding its name through visudo.

No error pops up from right clicking it and clicking "Open With Java", just nothing happens.
I was going too try to open the program through SSH however I'm unsure how to do that .
