March 29, 201312 yr Arent you at all worried that jagex is adding botwatch to 07scape which would therefor make any reflection, injecting bot inferior to a packet bot... Leading to mass bans seeing how I was reading that you guys will be a injecting/reflection bot just thought id say something incease you change your mind?

March 29, 201312 yr Developer I don't see how it's inferior. In fact, I think it's the other way around. And about botwatch, botwatch is most probably a 'learning' detection system based on behavioral aspects of the bot as in mouse, key input, timing and human / nonhuman patterns. We will see how well our bot does against this 'botwatch'.

March 29, 201312 yr They have always falsely accuse people. I used to be a no lifer, and get up and mining ess at like6 am till noon. I was accused of botting and the offense was never removed from my account. I never even knew bout botting obviously because who in their right mind would mine ess for 6 hours straight. Lol. But yes this could happen.
March 29, 201312 yr yeah i personally thing their bot watch is an attempt to scare people from botting, but they make more banning people because they know its easy to go and spend another couple pounds

March 30, 201312 yr From next week you will find a full schedule of bot busting sessions which you are all more than welcome to join. In the future... botwatch hard at work
March 30, 201312 yr Author Can you explain why you think it would be inferior? Well as I have noticed with eoc any bot that runs with injections/ reflection aka colour bots have been the main target jagex was trying to stop because they thought it would be easy so they add these methods to bust them I know jagex's main target is gold farmers and all but still I have read that you will have a new click path everytime in your bot which i think is a brilliant idea and will take jagex off thier course to finded the OSbotters I really hope you guys do better than w.bot did beat the other competition with a stick :P

Injection/reflection bots are not colour bots perse. I won't go into details because it doesn't matter to the subject anyways. Packet bots (I didn't even know they still existed and are used..) are extremely vulnerable for updates. Afaik, AutoRune was (one of) the last packet bots before they started to randomize their opcodes with ISAAC and hide the seeds inside RSA encrypted blocks, breaking the bot. This is a very long time ago. OSBot is not a colour bot and its injection techniques are not detectable with the clients current techniques and I don't see that changing any time soon, we have taken a different approach than most conventional bots have which have been copying older bots too much for the past couple of years. Like we try to mention a lot, OSBot has been given some (good) thought and care during its immature development.
March 30, 201312 yr in my own opinion havign a combo of both injection and reflection is perfect. I used and worked on iBot with the Snellman brothers for many years and they rarely had bans from there scripts. I myself was able to run the AIO rc bot for 21M exp without a ban and earned hundreds of mils. I believe bans come from human error not the bots/scripts.

March 31, 201312 yr Interesting thanks lol it is true though, if you have a good well thought out, bug tested script the only problem is human error when its set up wrong from the GUI or some other variable is wrong.

A private message works as well .
