Alex Ich Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Hey guys, I've gotten a few accounts banned for botting over the past few months, and I'm scared to bot again. Now if I was to bot again I would get VIP and use mirror mode, but also was looking into some way to get a new IP, either VPN or resetting my router. But does resetting my router give me a new IP from the one my previous accounts got banned on? Thanks for the help
Oliver Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Google any "whats's my IP Site" and note it. Go to your router and unplug it for a few minutes, plug it in again. Visit the what's my IP Site again and see if the IP has changed. edit: here is the link http://www.whatsmyip.org 1
Oliver Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 just use a vpn , it should change ur ip address why would he do that if he can get a new home IP for free? Free VPN = poor quality/prob flagged Premium = expensive

Oliver Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 oh , i thought if u have vpn u could just change ip's whenever like im using hotspot its free been working with it for years , ur prob right tho idk much about it My experience regarding botting is that the home IP is the best one to go. If it comes to bans. And about hotspot shield you use, I think you can choose between 4 locations and most IP's are shared. Let's say we both get the same IP, I get mass banned and the IP is flagged, chances are high that you will also take a damage 1

heptic Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Thanks for the help, but I did this a few times, and my ip has not changed. And idea? I have the same problem as you, My IP is a Static. Anyone know how to change without needing to call the ISP people? (I use Virgin Media)?
Oliver Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Thanks for the help, but I did this a few times, and my ip has not changed. And idea? Maybe try to unplug it for a longer time and if this does not work call your ISP and ask them to change the IP
OurSickStory Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Unless you are on a business plan i really doubt you have a static IP, its WAYY easier for them to to give and release them all the time. You could be, but i really doubt it. And yes calling them, they will generally give you a new IP with a valid excuse free of charge. (im blocked from netflix for some reason by IP etc)
