LuckyShim Posted May 18, 2015 Share Posted May 18, 2015 (edited) I'm using the "free -m" command to check my RAM usage on my VPS. I was wondering how I should be interpreting my output. Which numbers should I be looking at to determine if I can run another bot on my VPS or not? I'm mostly confused with the difference between the first line (that starts with "Mem:") and the second line (that starts with "-/+ buffers/cache") as well as what buffers and cache are. (unused) the +/- is a buffer, (not a "constant" amount used. eg; osbot can vary from 130-160 etc, its a buffer space) the 591 IS 100% free.
